Floating

Over a period of five weeks, I developed a trend book that offers a prediction of life in 2030. After conducting research and examining the mega-trend of climate change, I concluded that people are increasingly fearful of the future. The unpredictability of what lies ahead, combined with the natural disasters already happening, stirs a primal instinct in us. We want to run and hide from the forces of nature. Mother Nature is more powerful than humanity, but perhaps we can outsmart her. In response, we may retreat into bubbles, adapt to nature, or choose isolation.
